Watson is a free, open-source research assistant. Our mission is to help researchers collect, organise and cite their sources without lock-in.

Every reference, note and annotation you create is yours. You can export your entire library at any time, and metadata sync is always free and unlimited. We believe research tooling should be transparent, durable and owned by the people who use it.
